This class will be in an online lecture format with a slideshow presentation. It is an ideal lecture for those who are interested in the Colonial Era or the history of diseases. In the class, we will look at contemporary accounts and modern historical information in regards to diseases and medicine during the American Colonial time period (1607 – the American Revolution). I have a Master of Arts in Early European History from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. During undergraduate, while achieving my Bachelor's Degree, I minored in American History and took specialized classes in Colonial America. Additionally, I work in the medical field as a first responder. I have been teaching on the history of diseases for three years.
