In this Scratch coding tutoring class, my primary goal is to empower students like you with essential coding skills in a personalized and supportive environment. Whether you're a seasoned coder with a specific vision or a beginner eager to explore the world of programming, my class offers something for everyone. Through engaging activities and projects, I aim to help you master fundamental programming concepts like loops, conditionals, variables, and event handling, while also fostering your problem-solving abilities.

My main objective is to empower students who have a dream of creating a specific program but may need assistance in working through their ideas and bringing them to life. For those students who already have a project in mind, I'll provide personalized guidance and support to help you overcome any obstacles and turn your vision into a fully functioning program. We'll delve into sprite creation, backdrop design, and sequencing of code blocks to create interactive stories, animations, and games using Scratch, tapping into your creativity and imagination.

But don't worry if you're new to coding! I've got you covered with a series of pre-made projects to spark your creativity and get you started on your coding journey. Each month, we'll embark on exciting coding adventures, tackling fun and engaging projects designed to introduce you to key programming concepts like sequencing, loops, conditionals, and events while igniting your passion for coding.

So whether you're a seasoned coder or a complete beginner, join me on this journey of creativity, exploration, and innovation. Together, we'll unleash your potential and turn your coding dreams into reality!

In this Scratch coding tutoring class, my primary goal is to empower your child with essential coding skills in a personalized and supportive environment. Through engaging activities and projects, I aim to help your child master fundamental programming concepts like loops, conditionals, and variables, while also fostering their problem-solving abilities. By the end of the class, your child will be able to create interactive stories, animations, and games using Scratch, tapping into their creativity and imagination. With my personalized guidance and support, I'll ensure that your child gains confidence in their coding abilities and develops a genuine passion for technology.

Parents, please be advised that while Scratch online provides a safe and kid-friendly environment for learning and creating, it's important to remind your child about internet safety. It's necessary for your child to have an active Scratch account to participate in our sessions. However, I want to assure you that the other resources we use do not require an account to be made, ensuring accessibility for all participants. During our sessions, we may conduct image searches via Google, with my guidance to help buffer any potentially inappropriate content. However, it's important to note that the internet can be unpredictable. Rest assured, I will closely monitor these searches and promptly close any content I deem unsafe or inappropriate. Additionally, we utilize background remover and GIF background remover tools to clean up images before incorporating them into Scratch projects, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for our young learners. Furthermore, as part of our resources, we also incorporate the trivia platform Blooket, which offers engaging and interactive quizzes to reinforce learning and add an element of fun to our sessions.
