There is no longer any doubt that the climate is changing rapidly. How is this happening and what impacts will we see? In our first session, we will explore the mechanisms that are causing the changes to our climate. As a bit of background, before all of the forensic science, science fiction/fantasy writing, parenting, and homeschooling, I taught atmospheric science and was the lead instructor for a university's intro level atmospheric science lab course. I did some of my graduate work on the health impacts of climate change on vulnerable populations, and I also did a lot of hands on work in habitat restoration, where we could see the challenges of the changing climate. This subject is one of my main areas of interest, and brings together my education in science, law, and history.
