I will then follow with some questions such as: "Why is learning knot tying an important skill?", "In what ways are you going to use this skill in your daily life". I learned and taught knot tying in college, then again as a Class A Volunteer Interior Firefighter, and also as the Assistant Camp Director.
- 2 x 1\2 inch or 1 inch in diameter (or close to that size) several feet long ropes - Something to tie the knots to (this could be the student's arm)
