Come and learn the fundamentals and foundations of playing Clarinet, Flute or Saxophone. With 14 years of experience as a Band Director, 26 years as a Music Teacher and 38 years as a performer, Mrs. Sego with guide you through the basics of playing that will include proper embouchure, articulation, note reading, rhythm reading and musical expression. Students will learn proper embouchure, articulation, technique, notation, use of air and musical expression.
Mrs. Sego has been a music teacher for 26 years and has maintained a very successful private studio for the majority of that time. Her students have made their All State ensembles, All County, 1st chair, Honor Bands, College Scholarships and Youth Orchestras.
Students will need an adequate instrument and a book will be suggested to use after initial assessment of their abilities.
