즐거운 서클 타임!

Hi, and welcome to circle time with Mrs. Taylor! In this class, Preschool/Kindergarten-aged students will have a fun, safe, and engaging place to come together to socialize, play, learn, and grow. Each week, the class outline is as follows:

Welcome (each child is greeted by name with a welcome song)
Story time (story time is interactive - - questions and activities included during the reading)
Letter learning (each class will focus on one individual letter that corresponds the book that was read that day)
Story supported activity (activity will focus on math, reading, language, or a combination of multiple academic skills)
Music and movement
Closing/goodbye time

The content being taught will vary from week to week, but the basic outline of the course will stay consistent. Books and activities will be planned based on thematic units - - the unit topic will change each month. This class is designed to be super fun and friendly while also developing the minds of young learners!

Week of May 17th: Theme - If You Give a... ("If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Numeroff)
Week of May 24th: Theme - If You Give a... ("If You Give a Cat a Cupcake" by Laura Numeroff)
Week of May 31st: Theme - Zoo ("Animals Strike at the Zoo, it's True!" by Karma Wilson)
Week of June 7th: Theme - Zoo ("If Anything Ever Goes Wrong at the Zoo" by Mary Jean Hendrick)
Week of June 14th: Theme - Zoo ("Caps for Sale" by Esphyr Slobodkina)
Week of June 21st: Theme - Zoo ("Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you Hear?" by Bill Martin, Jr.)
