Welcome to Circle Time! 

We will start with a welcome song and then begin learning calendar skills. This will include going over our months of year, days of the week and today’s date! We will also sing songs to help us learn to count, say our ABCs and our colors. We will learn to identify the weather outside. If you child has access to a window, they will be invited to share what they discovered. We will help dress “Weather Bear” in appropriate clothing and then talk about things we could do or things we might need for the day if it is raining, snowing, hot or cold. After weather, we will play some games to learn our colors and shapes! Finally, we will sing some fun songs that will help us get our wiggles out! Circle time is sure to be so much fun and I can’t wait to see you there.

Please note that class content does not change from week to week and day by day. Students of this age thrive on repetition and count on their favorite songs beings the same week after week.  However, we do have a scavenger hunt at the end of our time together, and students bring in all kinds of different things that lead to new vocabulary and discussions. The exception to this is our weekly ABCs! We do one new letter every class! After 26 classes, our letters will start over!
