In this class we will use pre-reading approach and learn how to play the songs by using the letter names and finger numbers. Teacher will also demonstrate the hand position for each song.
Each day we will focus on the following:
Day one: In the beginning of the class, we will learn (or review if students already know it) the music alphabet, the names of the white keys, finger numbers, and basic rhythm patterns. We will go over the rhythms in each of the songs. Then we will work on...이 수업은 영어로 진행됩니다.
Students will learn finger numbers, music alphabet, names of the white keys, and basic rhythm patterns. Students will learn how to play "Jingle Bells", "Jolly Old St.Nicholas", and "Up on the Housetop", and “ We wish you a Merry Christmas using pre-reading approach (playing by the letter names of the piano keys and finger numbers).
Students will need to have an access to the piano since this is a hands-on class. Printouts for each class. Pencils and paper.
