In this one time class, students will be learning to draw a cute Christmas Black Labrador dog and use markers to color it! We will break down the dog into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Drawing and marker techniques will cover shading, highlights, mark making, texturizing, blending, and rendering as needed for the specific project. Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. Students will be encouraged to add their creative personal touches to their work. I'll offer a sharing event at the end of the class. Sometimes learners aren't finished at the end of class, so they can share in progress work and upload it to the classroom or bring it to their next class with me. We love to share art but there's no pressure.
