It focuses specifically on analyzing causal relationships and how to write about them in an essay format. It will help explain to learners not only how to create such an essay from start to finish, but will also give guidelines on how to do so when facing a time restriction (such as during a writing exam or timed assessment). If learners need assistance with a particular essay prompt, it is recommended that they have the prompt ready. The class will be discussion-based and will adapt to revolve around the individual needs of the learner and their essay.

Learners will have to option to either bring an existing prompt, choose an appropriate prompt with help from the teacher, or write about the prompt chosen by the teacher: "the causes and effects of social media addiction."
