수업 소개
We will be using Scratch to learn how to code. Scratch is the world's most popular coding language for primary and middle school children and it is really fun to learn. In this lesson we will be working on a project which involves a ballerina chasing a unicorn to get it to become her best friend. Every time the ballerina reaches the unicorn the unicorn will try to escape but eventually she will catch him and they will become best friends. The programming concepts that we will be covering in this lesson include: events, decisions, conditionals, which are "if" and "when" statements and variables, which we will learn at the end to give the ballerina a score as she chases the unicorn around the forest. Our classroom sizes are small so as to provide each child with individual attention. Children will always go away from our lessons having learnt something new, even if they've taken a programming class before. There are no prior coding experience needed at all.
