Students will improve their reading, critical thinking, memory skills. 
Students will also improve their skills of analyzing information and using text as evidence to support their thinking. 

I teach critical thinking through analyzing text and sources of information. Having students read various text to understand how to look for facts, pay attention to detail, and discuss their understanding helps to improve their ability to solve problems. Mysteries are possible problems that need solving. Helping learners think critically about text and what is heard promotes free thinking and outside of the box thinking.

I have attended a training from the coroner's office to help understand the causes of death and some of the consequences of human behavior.
