Let's get together and have a Battleship tournament. I will provide a paper version of the game for students to print out and use during class. Students are also welcome to use their own boards from home. We'll start out by having the rules of battleship explained, then we'll break into groups of two to engage in "battle". I will be there to assist students who may need guidance as they are learning to play the game and to be an extra to play, if we end up with an odd number of students....

A one page "board game" for play will be provided upon enrollment in the class. Students should also have at least one pencil ready for class (I like to use a couple different colored pencils so I can really see the hits). Alternatively, students may use their physical board game, though I find that this method is a bit slower than using the paper board.
