In this inclusive, PbtA (Powered by the Apocolypse) RPG tabletop game, learners of all gender identities are welcome to roleplay as campers at Camp Flying Moose - a summer camp for all teens who identify as girls. In this one-time game session, campers will replicate the summer camp experience, gain introspection, and form friendships as they work together to find the source of a mysterious howling that has been keeping campers awake at night. The first 20-30 minutes of class will be used...
Students develop problem-solving, team building, and interpersonal skills by working together for a common goal.
D6 dice (I can use an online one, but players may wish to bring their own to roll) Character Sheets (I will provide these in the classroom prior to the session) Students may also wish to bring a pencil/paper.
Mysteries involve supernatural elements including, but not limited to things such as ghosts, cryptids, and extra-terrestrials. The game may include age-appropriate romance (crushes), interpersonal drama, and gender exploration. No graphic depictions of violence or player character death will occur. We will keep the rating of the ga to PG-13.
