Students will learn about the theme as they are orally told tales of King Arthur and the knights of the round table. 10 minutes: Students will be introduced to the theme and practice identifying it. 10-15 minutes: The students will listen to the tale of a knight told first-person by the teacher as she embodies the knight and they will jot down questions that they have for the orator about their choices that are made contributing to the theme . The students will use their critical thinking...
- Students will be able to identify the theme in an Arthurian legend.
Nonverbal participants may use the keyboard, signaling, or any other accommodation to participate. Every child is welcome.
Paper and pencil optional for notes.
