캘리의 코너: 세포란 무엇인가?

In this one time class, students will learn about the human cell and plant cells. We will cover the basic structures and how they are similar and different.  We will cover the different organelles in very broad strokes because each one could have a class of their own. We will discuss how cells make up all living things and discuss the biological levels of organization of living things from organelles up to organisms. 

I consider myself to be a laid back teacher.  I like to let the students interact in the way they want.  I will do my best to check in with quieter or shy students, but I won't force them to participate.  I will have images, diagrams, and questions for the students.  We will learn what a cell is and what can be found in a cell by building our own cell.  

I do not like to assign homework, but I can if the student wants or if the parents would like me to assign it.
