Welcome back to the world of Engineering Design! This is the Level 2 Class for CADD and Engineering Design with Fusion 360. Students will learn more about the engineering design process and how to use the software tools to design and modify product prototypes. Students will work on a project to model and modify a teapot. They will then learn how to combine the separate parts into an assembly and how to export the finished project into industry-standard design documentation. They will...
Students will review and build on their skills using Fusion 360 for product design. They will learn lofting, more advanced assemblies, and how to use the simulation and animation features of Fusion 360.
I've taught CADD to high school students in both public and private schools and here on Outschool since 2013. I have almost 20 years of experience working with engineering and architectural firms before I became a teacher, so I have a good perspective on how these skills integrate into a real-world career.
