As the instructor of this Social-Emotional Learning class, I have a solid academic background and practical experience in teaching emotional intelligence to children. My qualifications and experience include:

Bachelor's Degree in Education and Psychology: My academic training has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding the social, emotional, and cognitive aspects of child development and learning.
Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (in progress): I am currently pursuing my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, which deepens my understanding of emotional well-being and equips me with advanced skills to promote emotional intelligence in educational settings.
Certified Teacher: As a certified teacher, I have the necessary credentials and training to deliver effective and engaging learning experiences for students of various age groups, including elementary school children.
Experience as a Substitute Teacher (Kindergarten through 5th Grade): I currently work as a substitute teacher for elementary students, which has allowed me to gain hands-on experience in teaching SEL concepts to diverse groups of learners in real classroom settings.
SEL Integration in the School Environment: In my role as a substitute teacher, I have successfully integrated SEL concepts into the curriculum, helping students build essential social-emotional skills that contribute to their overall well-being and academic success.

My expertise in the field of social-emotional learning, combined with my passion for teaching and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, ensures that each learner will benefit from the valuable skills and knowledge gained in this class.
