두뇌를 휘두르는 광학적 환상과 미친 정신을 녹이는 현상과 기술!

In this one-time class we will explore specific optical illusions (stereograms, illusionary motion, literal illusions etc.) and learn how they work.  We will also work with some of these optical illusions, allowing students the opportunity to annotate on the screen and work as a group to discuss what is going on in the picture. With each illusion, we will learn how certain patterns, colors and images are arranged in particular ways that "trick" our brains into seeing something that is not actually happening. The class will provide space for critical, imaginative thought as students attempt to explain what they are seeing and why they think their brains are processing the optical illusions the way they are. We will create a simple optical illusion craft that requires minimal supplies. No reading is required of the student.

My class setting is a relaxed, fun, open space for students to be able to discuss and express their thoughts about what we are learning. I encourage student interaction with not only myself but with their fellow classmates. Everyone is expected to be respectful and listen to one another but also feel like they have the ability to share their own thoughts and opinions. I believe learning should be fun and try to provide a space for that to happen.
