Together we will read and discuss Book Scavenger (Book 1) by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman. We will discuss the locations introduced in the book, the different types of codes and cyphers, as well as discuss the plot of the book. We will able to discuss the characters, setting, and plot while also checking for comprehension throughout. Students will enjoy a new book (Book Scavenger by Jennifer Chamblis Bertman) while also engaging in puzzles, codes and cyphers to promote cognitive skills and problem solving.
I have been a teacher and taught chapter books including vocabulary, comprehension, and basic reading skills for student in the public school system for 13 years.

Students will read the book outside of class. Students will read approximately 70 pages per night to be ready to discuss the book in class. This will be up to 2 hours outside of class depending on the learners reading level.수업 외 주당 1 - 2 시간

While this is considered a middle level book, please ensure that the concepts and level are appropriate for your reader.
