주당 2-4시간. Students should read a book each week and will receive a graphic organizer/worksheet to fill out and use when sharing about their book. Do you love to read? Are you always looking for a new book or series to read because you are constantly finishing a book and looking for the next great book to read? If this sounds like you (or your child), you will want to take this class. This is an ongoing class where students can share about the books they're reading and hear about new books from their classmates! Students will read a book of their choice each week, and share about that book with the class. They will also learn a different book report style that they will use to share about their book. If you love to read, and always looking for another great book to read, this class is for you! We will rotate through 4 different book report styles: (June 29)- Week 1 : Students share about one of their favorite books with the class, explaining why they love it. (July 6)- Week 2: Students will share about a 2nd book, and give a plot summary of their book with the class. (July 13)- Week 3: Students will share about a 3rd book, and use a persuasive format, explaining if people should/shouldn't read the book. (July 20)- Week 4: Students will share about 4th book they have read, and complete a character analysis on one of the characters.

I will provide a book list if the students needs book ideas. I will provide worksheets each week for them to fill out and share about their books.
