No matter where you are in your reading journey, you're invited to join this interactive book club! We will share our thoughts and delve deeper into each story. I have been an English and history teacher for many years and enjoy helping students ignite their spark for reading and learning about the past. It is important to me for students to learn accurate history, using authentic experiences and voices.
Each student must have their own copy of the specified I Survived book for the week chosen.
Some books may include advanced topics, such as violence, oppression, natural disasters, etc. This series is suggested for ages 7-12, but feel free to use your own judgment for your child. Please pre-read books if you are unsure if they’re a good fit for your child.
