Week 1Lesson 1First Day Adventure in Learning and Class DiscussionDuring the first live meeting, I will be introducing you to the author and the book, focusing on culture, history, and the geography covered in the story. You don't need to have any of 𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰, 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦 read yet, but feel free to start it if you like.Week 2Lesson 2Discussing Chapters 1-14During the live meeting, we will discuss Chapters 1-14 using conversational Socratic method. We will also discuss the week’s exciting poster project!Week 3Lesson 3Discussing Chapters 15-29During the live meeting, we will discuss Chapters 15-29 using conversational Socratic method. We will also discuss the week’s exciting animal project!Week 4Lesson 4Discussing Chapters 30-42During the live meeting, we will discuss Chapters 30-42 using conversational Socratic method. We will also discuss the week’s really useful calming project!
- Literature analysis, vocabulary reinforcement, study skills, keeping to an assigned reading schedule, and social skills.

I will be supplying handouts to print at home, and all crafts will use materials you likely already have on hand, such as pens, paper, glue, and scissors.
You will need a copy of 𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰, 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦 by Erin Entrada Kelly.
