I have been a certified veterinarytechnician for more than 30 years in a mixed animal practice that also sees exotics and injured wildlife. I have a MEd from Colorado State University and and I am now finishing up my second Master’s program and will have a Master of Veterinary Education (MVEd) from Lincoln Memorial University’s School of Veterinary Medicine by spring 2024. I have taught for 13+ years at a local colleges in nationally accredited Veterinary Assistant Programs and have lead a variety of Veterinary Science programs for grades 3-5, 6-8, and high school. I also teach in an equine studies program at a local private university. Along with all that I am also a homeschool mom! At home, my family has 3 mini horses, a Paint horse, 4 Nigerian dwarf goats, 9 chickens and 2 cats! I am absolutely passionate about sharing my experience and love for animals and veterinary medicine with all learners from all backgrounds!
