At the end of the course learners will be able to know and understand the cell theory, compare & contrast cell and animal structures, note the specific organelle function, understand the central dogma of molecular biology, understand DNA vs RNA structure, subtypes and functionalities and understand both replication and protein synthesis process in detail. Learners will also be able to appreciate natural selection, and specifically how mutation factors into not only cellular behavior but also how it can affect human health in basic terms.
