This class will use videos, pictures, lecture and discussion to learn about the secret unit within the US military that helped fight in WWII. The unit came to be known as the Ghost Army. The Ghost Army used deception and diversion tactics to help win the war. I keep my classes small to ensure that students are able to engage and not feel crowded out. Because we are talking about war, I will be showing some videos that will include actual war footage, but no killing. My children are 8 and 10 and I would have no issues with them seeing these videos, but I wanted to make sure you were aware. Also, one video talks about Adolf Hitler killing himself. I understand that this is a sensitive matter. If you would like links to the videos that I will be showing that contain this subject matter, please let me know before the first class begins, so you can decide if this class is right for your child.
