This session is an introduction or a review of the subjunctive tense in French. I have been studying French for over 30 years and have many opportunities to communicate and make friends around the world. The goal in my teaching is to make things simple. A lot of teaching in French explains all the rules, however the goal in my teaching style is to make the rules understandable and basic. When exceptions come, they are easier for the learner to understand. I use online games, questions,...
Students will learn basic greeting and leave takings in the French language, and the reasons and applications of their usage. Students also will be able to practice in class and learn how to say how they are doing.

Students have optional video in French to watch that explains why French is difficult to understand, and how to make it easier. Also some time will be addressed in how the COVID-19 crisis is affecting the greetings and leave takings in France.
A few websites will be reference, and a Quizlet exercise will be used for student practice.
