수업 소개
Does your child dream of becoming a ballerina? This is the perfect place to start! This ongoing class will teach the basics of ballet to children in a fun and engaging way. Students will begin each week with age appropriate cardio and stretching to get their bodies ready to dance. Each week, we'll learn ballet steps and the correct terminology for each step. Dancers will learn short combinations each week, and learn how to pick up on ballet choreography. This class is great for students who have never taken a ballet class before, or who have taken one or two classes here or there, like one-time dance classes. Children taking this class should wear dance attire and ballet shoes or comfortable clothing and socks.

Students will be participating in a physical fitness/movement activities though out the class. Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves. Therefore, please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper foot ware (choice of ballet shoes and/or socks). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle near by and to warm up before class to avoid injury. Parental supervision is strongly encouraged to help your dancer maintain their safety and spacial awareness.

Hi! My name is Miss Emily, and I teach dance to kids of all ages.
I began dancing at a young age, and my love of the art form carried through into a professional career. I danced with companies such as Six Flags, and at the "Most Magical Place on Earth" - Disney World!
Upon returning to my home state of Wisconsin, I opened a successful dance studio. There, I train dancers pre-professionally in ballet, tap, jazz, & lyrical. In addition to teaching children, I train other instructors in safe, age-appropriate dance curriculum. I believe every child should have access to quality dance instruction, and I love that Outschool expands that reach.
On Outschool, I love teaching dance in a fun and engaging way to children ages 3-7. I teach themed classes like my "Frozen Friends Ballet Dance Class", and an "Under the Sea Ballet Dance Party", as well as specific ballet classes! I offer one-time, multi-day, ongoing, and flex classes in multiple different themes to suit every young learner!
