4~9세 어린이를 위한 초보자 피아노 수업 - Little Musicians Rising Stars 1

This class is perfect for the early beginner and will set your child up for success in music!   This class is designed specifically for 5 - 9 year-olds.  I have over 30 years of teaching 3 -9-year-olds in group lessons as well as private lessons for ages 5 - Adult. 

This is a great first step to learning music notation and seeing if they are really interested, before making the big investment!  I teach in a very patient, fun, and engaging style.  No prior knowledge is needed.  

We will review concepts during the first 5 minutes of every week. This will give confidence to learners, reinforce concepts, and give new learners a background.

We will learn the names of notes on the piano and musical notation in songs.  Rhythm games will help internalize rhythm which will support your child's overall learning and cognitive development!   Weekly classes are not built upon previous weeks.  Learners can join and leave at any time.  

Among these, we will cover the items below:
     - Performance and listening etiquette
     - Proper hand position
     - Finger dexterity exercises
     - Patterns of black keys
     - Quarter, Eighth, Whole, and Half notes 
     - Quarter Rests
     - Forte (loud) vs Piano (soft)
     - Sharps vs Flats
     - Ear Training
     - Simple Songs

These simple songs are written or arranged by myself so no books to purchase, I will send learners songs after class to print, in case your little one wants to practice.  I will also send printables for those who want to extend the learning.  These are not required for class.  

Any type of piano or keyboard is welcome.  No homework is required but be ready parents, your little learner will want to play nicely on the piano.
