수업 소개

This Hip Hop dance camp is created for the beginner level dancer. 

***If you don't see a class time that best fits your schedule, please kindly send me a message to best accommodate you! 

The first portion of class will begin with a fun high energy warm-up and stretch. Next we will go over the topic of the day and put it to practice by learning a fun dance routine! 

Topics of the day:
-The elements of Hip Hop Dance
-How to find and stay on beat
-Confidence & Performance
-Footwork patterns
-Essential arm movements
-Various skills/dance moves
-Choreographed dance

What is different about my classes?
-The foundation of class is built on self-esteem, confidence & having fun! I believe dance can be a pathway for expression and building strong, confident mindsets. 
-In group classes it may feel intimidating when learning something new in front of many students. I want to create a safe learning space, so each class is limited to a maximum of 6 students. This also allows me to provide specialized attention and direct feedback for each student.

Kimberlin is driven to uplift, empower and give her students a sense of belonging. In each of Kimberlin’s classes she allows a space for her students to feel seen, heard and supported. With every fresh start she allows her students to get inspired and connect with others in the class to create a team oriented experience. Each student shares something they are celebrating and/or something to be grateful for. They discuss kindness to self and others. Kimberlin keeps her classes fun and high energy for the entirety of the class. Through self-love and passion, she aims to help her students find their confidence and unique self expression.

Hi! I’m Kimberlin — a passionate Hip Hop and Shuffling dance educator with over 25 years of dance experience across a variety of styles, and more than a decade of teaching. I’ve trained with top industry professionals, and my journey has taken me from the studio to global stages — including live performances with DJ Martin Garrix and Will Sparks.

My classes are packed with energy, encouragement, and real dance training. I challenge each dancer to build confidence, level up their skills, and express themselves authentically. Every session is designed to uplift, inspire, and connect — and above all, to make sure every dancer feels seen, heard, and supported.

I also bring 2 years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, which allows me to meet the needs of neurodiverse learners and dancers of all abilities with care and confidence. I’m committed to creating inclusive, empowering spaces where every learner can move, grow, and shine in their own individual way.

I’ve had the joy of working with students from all over the world, and the feedback I hear most is how quickly their dancer progresses — and how much joy and connection they find in class.

I’m honored to guide your dancer on this journey — and I can’t wait to help them grow, express themselves boldly, and celebrate every step along the way.
