For this class, I picked the most common birds you'll be seeing in backyards this summer all across North America. We will focus on 15 birds. For each bird, students will learn characteristics, birdsong, behaviors, tips for attracting them to your yard, and some fun facts. 

This class is great for beginner birdwatchers or anyone interested in birds! No prerequisites or previous experience with identifying birds is necessary. I do recommend students have their own bird guide, either in print or an online resource. This will help them identify birds beyond the classroom.
