In this 50 minute, multi day adventure camp, students will be introduced to some of the world's most 'awe-mazing' animals: the world's loudest reptile, a dancing spider, mammals that lay eggs, and more! Students will be amazed by the animals' physical characteristics, discuss their unique behaviors, and even go on an adventure to explore their habitats. This class will be a teacher presentation - class discussion/interaction format which will include slides, discussion, video clips, games and more. My teaching style embraces the child's natural curiosity which can lead to extended learning as we indulge uninhibited thought and questions. No prior knowledge required for this class but any the learner brings, is welcomed!

The teacher will provide a variety of engaging Notebooking Pages so the student can continue to interact with the material even after the class is completed. These handouts may encourage more curiosity about the animal kingdom. In class, the student is welcome to bring a globe or world map, the Notebooking Packet, and a pencil.

My education is in Elementary and Middle School Education, and I hold a Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology with a graduate minor in Statistics. I have 20+ years of teaching experience including Private Elementary, State University, online teaching (ESL, core education, and enrichment courses), and homeschooling my own son for eleven years.
