2. Parent should assess if the learner is ready to use scissors. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors, glue, paint, and colors.

******Safe Scissors Use******
Focus on the task at hand when using scissors. Stop using the scissors if you want to look up. When using scissors, cut in a direction away from your body and fingers, hands, arms, and legs. Do not attempt to catch a dropped pair of scissors.

Please note that Outschool's policy requires parents to stay off-camera during class. Parents will remain off-camera while providing supervision. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
