Do you enjoy anime or manga? Draw along with other beginner artists in this weekly art class. Circles, triangles, squares and other forms are the foundation for any good doodle, and in anime and manga it is no different. Learn how you can create almost anything with a bit of practice and patience. Perfect for beginners or students looking for inspiration to fill their sketchbook.

📌 This is an ongoing, weekly class and as such students can enroll at any point. In each class, we will draw together a drawing, step by step, while learning a principle of art (ie. proportion, rhythm, unity, etc). Students will then draw a second or third object on their own using the ideas learned in class.

In this ongoing class, we will use simple shapes as our foundation to draw each week! To be prepared in class, all you need is a pencil, an eraser and paper. We will discuss things like different shapes, shading, line weight, how to best use shapes to construct your anime and manga creations. Sharing your artistic journey with new artists can be an exciting and inspiring experience. Join us and learn how to draw your own anime and manga characters!
