In each session, age appropriate facts about each animal will be discussed. While learners are encouraged to participate in the discussion, quiet learners are welcome to listen and absorb knowledge! Students will also learn through interactive activities on Nearpod, and listen to stories. Optional printable activities will be included with coloring along encouraged. Your learner is invited to bring a favorite Arctic animal toy or picture to share with the class. Day 1: Learners will be introduced to Arctic aquatic animals, such as the walrus and the narwhal. Day 2: Learners will be introduced to Arctic land animals such as the Arctic wolf and the Arctic fox. If your learner enjoys this camp, check out my ongoing Animal Investigators class to exercise critical thinking skills while learning about a new animal each week!

Hello! I am excited to meet you! I am an enthusiastic teacher and believe learning should be fun. Learning is enhanced for a child when it is presented in a context made relative to their interests.
I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. I have taught children for over 15 years. My background includes teaching EFL online to learners aged 4-16 as well as teaching preschool.
I live near Seattle, Washington with my husband and two children. We also have a Siberian Husky, two tuxedo cats, two ferrets, a leopard gecko and a crested gecko. Outside of teaching, I love cooking, volunteering at my children's school and traveling with my family. I look forward to fun and creativity with your child in my classroom!리뷰
