과학, 음성학, 독서 및 수학을 포함한 동물 테마의 유치원/고등학교/ESL 수업!

This ongoing class is perfect for preschool, kindergarten and, ESL students!  Each week we will learn about a new animal!  This class meets once a week and follows this format:

Students will be introduced to the animal, its habitat, what it eats.  We will watch a fun informative video about the animal and then read a fictional children's book that has our animal of the week as a character in the story.  We will work on basic sight words each week and use them in simple sentences about the animal of the week.  Phonics and reading will be used in each class by focusing on the letter that the animal begins with each week.  We will also bring in a math component to this course with numbers, counting, patterns, and colors using our animal of the week. 

Finally, we will enjoy a fun song or interactive learning game about our animal of the week!  Individual speaking, as well as group speaking, will be encouraged throughout each lesson.  No prior with English is necessary to attend this class.  I will adjust each lesson to individual student levels and needs.  There will be breaks from class to allow families to enjoy time with family.

We will be studying the following animals:  cows, goats, octopuses, whales, sharks, jellyfish, giraffes, horses, dogs, cats, bears, bats, lions, penguins, rabbits, and many more! Hope to see you in class soon! :)
