Hello everyone! In this one-time class, students will learn all about the tiny (but fierce) black-footed cat! Students will learn about the physical characteristics, habitat, behavior, diet, and conservation status of this unique animal. They will also learn zoological vocabulary words such as “carnivore,” “nocturnal,” “feline,” and more. First, I will present the scientific information in a slideshow format. Because this is a science-based class about animals, I will be mentioning the fact that some animals hunt and eat other animals; however, there will be no graphic images, graphic videos, or graphic descriptions. Google Slides will be used to present the information and images to the learners. I will be using the screen-share function to present to the class. Learners will not need to have their own Google Slides accounts. Learners will not need to access any outside resources during the lesson.
