동물의 숲 마을 주민 퀴즈 챌린지!

Come have fun as you collaborate & compete with peers in this one-time class. In this interactive game show, students will enjoy a competitive Kahoot! game, testing their knowledge of Animal Crossing Villagers. Students will enjoy meeting new friends from around the world and are invited to share which villagers they have on their island and who is/are their favorite(s) and why.  All Animal Crossing fans are welcome to join in the fun and learn something new--whether you are new to the game or have been playing for a while. Join us! 

Students will enter via the Zoom classroom and after we introduce ourselves, the teacher will share the Kahoot! code for the trivia game.  It helps if you already have the website up and/or the app downloaded before class.  I have found this to be the most effective and fast way to get everyone on the game and interacting quicker.  It may take a few minutes to get everyone on the game so patience is key. 

NOTE: We will not be playing Animal Crossing in class so there is no need to bring your Switch.  

Although this lesson is taken in Zoom, the students will utilize Kahoot! for the trivia quiz. Kahoot is an interactive software that allows students to answer the teacher's question in a game-type format.  For best results in this class, I recommend having a second device (smartphone or iPad/tablet) for Kahoot in addition to the device they will use for their Zoom meeting.  Students may also open Zoom and Kahoot on the same computer or laptop and toggle between screens during class although this can be quite difficult to do.  iPads and tablets do not support this functionality, so if they are using an iPad or tablet for Zoom, they will need a second device for Kahoot!.  Students can access the Kahoot game by typing kahoot.it into any browser and entering the game pin provided by the teacher in class.

Please be sure to have devices ready to play when class begins.  I am unable to hold up class to wait for students to find a device and connect to Kahoot.
