▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ REQUIREMENTS ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ - Nintendo Switch/ Nintendo Switch Lite - Nintendo Online Membership - Animal Crossing New Horizons ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ DESCRIPTION ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ In this ongoing social club you will visit one of my five star islands every week and make new friends from around the world in Animal Crossing New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch. Just head to your airport, talk to Orville, and get ready to explore my islands as you have fun meeting other Animal Crossing players and making new friends. I currently have 3 five-star islands in Animal Crossing New Horizons - Kawaii, Konolulu, and Kilala - and in this class, you will get to explore all 3 of them! I will decide which island you visit with your small group each week. The island you visit will depend on how many learners are currently enrolled in our class. If you remain enrolled in this class, then each week you will rotate from island to island on a weekly basis with your small group. Every week, you will be invited to explore one of my islands and to come visit me in Animal Crossing. While you are on my islands, you are always welcome to visit my shops, buy items, talk to my villagers, play games, and explore. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ BREAKOUT ROOMS ▬▬▬▬▬▬ When this class size is large enough, learners will be placed into small groups in breakout rooms each week. Group sizes will be determined by the number of learners who are enrolled in this class. The island learners visit each week will be chosen by Teacher Sheila. This will be dependent on how many learners are currently enrolled in the class and which group your learner is in. Learners who remain continuously enrolled in this class will spend each month with the same group of learners to have the opportunity to really connect with their peers and to travel to each of my islands with their groups. During this class, I will spend my time moving between breakout rooms to check in with learners and to make sure that everyone is having a positive social experience. - Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite - Nintendo Online Membership - Animal Crossing New Horizons Game - Stable Internet Connection - In the Animal Crossing Game, please make sure your airport is open and ready for travel, that your online play is setup and working properly, and that you and/or your learner knows how to use a Dodo code (if your learner needs help with using a Dodo code, please assist them with this during class time). Hey there! I'm Sheila, and I'm super excited to be here with you on this awesome learning adventure!
I've been teaching professionally since 2012. I spent 8 years teaching in public schools, working with students from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Then, in 2018, I transitioned to online teaching, connecting with hundreds of learners just like you from all over the globe. On Outschool alone, I have taught almost 500 learners!
Along with teaching, I'm also very passionate about exploring my creative side. I absolutely love working with digital art, designing my own mugs to sell on Etsy, and freelancing as a graphic designer. Currently, I am experienced with using Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Gimp, Davinci Resolve, PowerPoint, and Canva.
When I'm not teaching or creating, you can find me snuggled up with my cat, Zuko, sipping on my favorite Starbucks latte, or dreaming up new Procreate tutorials. I can't wait to inspire your creativity and share everything I know with you in our classes together! ✨

First let me tell you how fun and engaging this teacher is! She’s somehow tied learning activities in with Animal crossing and the kids don’t even realize that they are learning while having fun! My child absolutely loved this class and this amazing teacher, looking forward to the class every single day! I can’t recommend this class and this teacher enough!
