Are you obsessed with Ancient Egypt? Learning hieroglyphics has never been more fun! Students will learn about the history of the Egyptian language, then will dive in to learning Middle Egyptian. Learning ancient languages teaches and reinforces the student's grasp of grammatical concepts, which will strengthen their skills in written English as well! This class will meet for one hour twice a week and will cover the first four chapters of the provided textbook. Short homework assignments...
Ms. Bender holds a MA in Egyptology from the University of Toronto and has experience teaching ESL, as well as tutoring a variety of topics. She knows how to make things fun while facilitating learning in her unique, personalized style.
