Hello, I am Ms. Annmarie, and I am thrilled to introduce the engaging and educational world of American Sign Language to children ages 5-7. As part 3 of our Beginner American Sign Language course, we will be delivering ving into various categories, learning over 20-50 signs each week. Our lessons will be designed to facilitate learning through song, games, and interactive activities that help reinforce sign vocabulary.

Throughout the class, I will use visual aids, demonstrations, and music to engage and interact with the children. In addition, we will be learning to sign different stories that will help children apply their new skills in context. No prior knowledge of American Sign Language is required - all that is necessary is a willingness to learn.

My teaching style focuses on demonstrating and explaining how your hands form each sign, ensuring that every child clearly understands the concepts we are exploring. I am excited to have your child join me in this journey of learning and exploration through American Sign Language!


My class format
**Greeting - We will learn how to sign a welcome song in the First Week of class! Play a game to work on Fingerspelling
**We review words from the Week before.
**Break - this is the time to use the bathroom!
**Learn new words - Each Week will bring an item or talk about the new words we are doing.
**Song or Story, if available
**Review this Week's words.
 
I will send out a Word list after class on our classroom page.
