Amazing Science class is a multi-day structured 4th Grade science course for the studious student that loves to learn about science. (This class is based on Spectrum Science 4 workbook. If you want to follow along, feel free to grab a copy.) There will be three fun units covered in this class and we will meet once a week to learn and discuss our lesson. This class is based on a 12 lesson subscription, and we will try to cover the first two or three units in the 12 weeks. You will have to resubscribe to continue learning the course.

We will learn the following in each unit:
Unit 1- Science as Inquiry (Learning to solve problems)
-- We will learn the scientific method and how to solve problems together.
-- We introduce how to be a scientific detective
-- We learn that science is technically a system of many things
-- We learn how to measure results

Uni 2- Physical Science
-Molecules 
-Kinetic Energy
-Electric
-Movement of light

Unit 3-  Life Science
-Species
-Mircoscopic Marvels
- Creatures

The class will be listening lecture from the teacher and also Question and Answers through out the class time. Class time will run 25 minutes, at length, and we will discuss ideas and answer the quiz after each class. . The students will be participating about 70% of the time in the classroom and taking notes about ideas, concepts, and vocabulary for the unit tests that will be verbally given in class. 

As this is an structured multi day class you may need to tell the teacher if or when you need to stop classes. You may also need to inform the teacher how long you are wanting class.  The student will be able to start what their last lesson was. The teacher will make notes in each class of student's progress. There will be some written homework assigned, maybe not every day, but some days we will have homework. We also have home experiments to do outside of the class time, allowing kids to have a hands on experience and a way to deduct their results and guesses. Make sure parents are supervising during experiments. Be always ready to share results in class. Additionally, in this class we will cover all types of sciences from earth science to technology science. This class will be fun to explore at and learn. We will learning many terms and significant people that have helped discovered theories and ideas in science. There will be an assessment after each unit, so take good notes in class.
