수업 소개
This course is designed to help your child understand how to determine if a number is an odd and even number. We will build a foundation of understanding the difference between odd and even numbers. Students will use counter to investigate different sets of numbers to determine whether they are odd or even. At the end we will discuss the patterns that we have seen when we were exploring odd numbers and even numbers. Students will use these patterns to hold discussions of how to apply them to larger numbers.

Hello my name is Amanda Copeland. I am a fifth grade teacher from Chesapeake, Virginia. I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education and a concentration in Mathematics from Eilzabeth City State University. I also hold a Masters in Instructional Technology from Capella University, and I am working to my Math Specialist Masters. I have been a teacher for 6 years. In these 6 years I have taught grades 2, 3, 4, and 5th.
I am passionate about math. My students have left my class every year with confidence and the tools they need to be successful in math. My latest group of students all were able to pass their Virginia state test.
Many of my students have different learning styles and I strive to reach each and everyone of them. Teaching is truly my passion and feel I was born to teach. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, being outside and watching baseball!리뷰
