Hello! I am Amber! I have lived in North Carolina all of my life! I graduated from the University Of North Carolina in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Currently, I am pursuing my Masters of Education Degree. In the last 12 years, I have  taught public middle and high school science and have transitioned to homeschooling my own 5 children. 

This past year I ventured into teaching English as a second language as an online foreign exchange teacher. I love every moment in the classroom with my new friends across the world. Sharing our love for learning while enjoying the cultural differences is amazing.  Online instruction has opened my eyes to so much diversity and I love the passion that comes with each student who takes my classes. 

While I specialize in Science instruction, I also have a passion for art, sewing, nature, farming and homesteading. I also have a passion for special education. I have experience with children who have social, emotional and behavioral challenges.
