By the end of this course, students will have a solid understanding of pre-algebra concepts, including integers, rational numbers, algebraic expressions, equations, fractions, decimals, percents, ratios, and proportions. They will develop problem-solving skills and be prepared for more advanced math courses.

I have an extensive background in education, and I am adept at providing tailored instruction to meet the unique needs of each student. As a highly skilled educator, I have experience tutoring a 7th grader in math, focusing on pre-algebra and algebra concepts. Optional homework assignments will be provided to reinforce the concepts learned during class. Students can complete the assignments at their own pace and bring questions to class for review.

Learner progress will be assessed informally through class participation, completion of optional homework assignments, and demonstrated understanding of the concepts during class activities. At the end of the course, students will take an assessment to evaluate their mastery of pre-algebra concepts and determine their eligibility for the next course: Algebra 1.
