By the end of this course, students will be able to:

Understand the basic concepts of algebra.
Solve and graph linear equations.
Solve systems of linear equations.

Optional homework assignments will be provided to reinforce the concepts learned during class. Students can complete the assignments at their own pace and bring questions to class for review.

Learner progress will be assessed informally through class participation, completion of optional homework assignments, and demonstrated understanding of the concepts during class activities. At the end of the course, students will take an assessment to evaluate their mastery of pre-algebra concepts and determine their eligibility for the next course: Algebra 2.
