In this five part math class, you can pick and choose which classes you would like. All classes will cover the standards for Pre-K through 2nd grade from NCTM (National Council for Teachers of Mathematics). The students will learn by interacting through live video. They will understand patterns, relations and functions. They will sort, classify and order objects by size, number and other properties. They will recognize, describe and extend patterns. They will analyze how both repeating and growing patterns are generated. When working with this age it is important to be flexible, meaning, if we need to take a break and move around I will adapt my lesson accordingly.
학습 목표
In this section we are learning Algebraic concepts which can evolve and continue to develop during Pre-K through 2nd grade. They will learn through work with classification, patterns and relations, operations with whole numbers and step by step processes. This is not going to deal with the symbolism often taught in traditional high school algebra course.
