This course is designed with two live classes each week where students will have the opportunity to review concepts, practice various types of questions, and receive clarification during Q&A sessions. Additionally, they will receive recordings of each class for further reference. The goal of the course is to equip 8th and 9th-grade students with a solid foundation in Algebra 1, providing them with the necessary skills and tricks to approach the subject with confidence. Hello everyone!
My name is Dipta, and my passion is teaching math! There's a saying, "Math doesn't need to be hard; you just need someone to explain it in a way you understand." I can do that! When I teach, I customize my strategies to fit your individual needs. Over the course of 15 years, I have accumulated many tricks for teaching different math concepts, I can always find a method that works for you.
It is especially important to me to make sure every student feels safe to make mistakes in my class – we celebrate mistakes! Believe it or not, the only way to master math is to learn from your mistakes. I make sure that everyone regardless of their level and background is comfortable in my class to ask questions. This will ensure students can clear their doubts and they can understand material.
I've obtained my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education and my Master’s degree in Mathematics. Over the last 15 years, I have taught at Delaware Technical Community College. I teach a wide range of courses from basic math to calculus. My experience includes teaching college students, private tutoring for Kindergartens to 12th grade. I have been an online tutor since 2019. Based on my experience with all age groups, I am confident in my ability to teach any math concepts to anyone willing to learn!
Fun Fact - My other passion outside of Math is cooking! I try to learn and make a new dish every week. I cook a among a wide variety of dishes within different cultures. Sharing these dishes with my family, and seeing how they really enjoy it, brings me immense joy!리뷰
