In this class, students will practice addition and subtraction math facts through 20. They will practice the ability to quickly and accurately recall math facts. This class will help students acquire accuracy and speed when recalling basic math facts. Fact fluency is one of the basic building blocks in math that is foundational in processing math as it becomes more complex.

We will also discuss different strategies that will help learners acquire the correct answers. 

Math facts can often be boring and just don’t bring on a lot of excitement! So, I’ve decided to make this more interesting to students! Learners will practice this skill through several games.

This class will be very interactive as students will be producing answers during the games!

Your child will need prior knowledge of basic addition and subtraction.

Let’s make learning math facts fun and interactive! I hope to see your child in my class.

I am so excited to be teaching on Outschool! I am thankful that you are considering me to teach your child. I have always loved learning and I love getting others excited about learning new things! I hope your child will join my classroom for a wonderful learning experience! 

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. My educational experience includes several years as a classroom teacher and several years as an online teacher. Whether in person or online I make learning very engaging so students will enjoy the experience. I know that if I can make learning fun, then the students will grasp the concepts even better!

I will be teaching beginner reading classes. My experience as a classroom teacher and an online teacher has given me the passion to make learning to read enjoyable for students. My goal is for your child to be encouraged, comfortable, and excited about learning in my classroom!

I am married and have three daughters. We love boating, camping, and going to the mountains together. I enjoy painting and have recently started gardening! I enjoy spending lots of quality time with my family.
