Hi, In our tutoring session, I can take your student's lead or else lead a session which encompasses vocal and physical warm-ups before we dive into the work. I highly recommend students read the full script of the piece they're bringing to class for context and understanding. Space-wise, it would be great if they have a space to be able to move a little even if it's just to pace back and forth. We may also do vocal warm-ups that could be on the louder side if the performance is intended for a theater ultimately. If self-taping is involved, good lighting would be recommended, but happy to review that more in the session.

Similar to musicians who tune their instruments, actors must "tune" their bodies, voices and minds to deliver a relaxed performance. I will teach them exercises that target these.I can provide a myriad of ways to memorize text, knowing that students come in with different learning styles and abilities.
